JBL HLS610 2-Way Bookshelf Speakers (Pair)

Product Description

Video Shielding allows speakers to be safely placed near a TV without distorting your television's picture.

As college student with no money, I still look for the best sound I can find for my music. These speakers are superb for a small dorms. When paired with at least 100 watts these will pound out enough bass to shake your walls but will not lose any tonal quality. JBL has done a great job on presenting consumers with a economical choice for sound. Over all I would recomemd these to any college student that wants to improve the sonic quality of the dorm room.


Actually I have a pair of HLS 410's. And I would like to point out that they are awesome too. I was going to buy the 610's but I liked the small footprint of the 410's. The 410's are the size of most boombox speakers, but sound 1000 times as good. I was astonished by the incredibly tight bass that was produced by just a 3.5 inch woofer. And the tweeter is the same one that is used in some of JBL's premier tower speakers, so the overall sound quality is incredible. Remember that I am talking about the 410's, which are the entry level of the HLS series; It only gets better.


I ALREADY HAD A PAIR OF THESE SPEAKER, NOW I'M GOING TO BUY ONE MORE......ANY QUESTION?


These speakers have a good sound to them considering their price. Their highs and mids are nice and punchy, but the bass is average. The clarity is good.


I was looking into a home theater system and came accross these speakers and decided to give them a try. I was uneasy about choosing bookshelf speakers as opposed to floor speakers because I didn't know if they could pick up the low end enough, so i also purchased a 10" JBL sub-woofer. They sound great. This was my first experence with JBL speakers and since I have equipied the rest of my home theater system with JBL speakers. I would recomend these speakers for anyone who likes to listen to their music or movies loud enough that they can feel them. Thats really where these speakers out preform the rest. I would love to answer any quesitions that anyone has reguarding either these speakers or their home theater system.

SURROUND KIT FOR JBL LE14

Product Description

Don't throw away those expensive JBL loudspeakers, repair them with these new repair kits from Parts Express! The surrounds in these kits are exact replacements for each particular model, so your JBL driver will perform as it did when it was new from the factory. Each kit contains supplies to repair two speakers and includes foam or cloth surrounds, plastic shims, two dust caps, 1 oz. of adhesive (specially formulated for various speaker cone materials), 5 foam swabs for application of glue, and complete repair instructions. A utility knife and isopropyl alcohol are recommended to remove old surround material, but are NOT included in this kit.
